The gap between pipeline notes and the live call
Reps open the CRM, skim an old note, and dial while juggling pricing objections they did not rehearse. Managers want coaching but cannot sit on every line. The revenue OS needs a middle path: structured preparation, live support that does not speak for the rep, and disciplined follow-up that updates pipeline truth.
What Live Sales Coaching provides
This capability is a supervised call workspace. Sal helps you prepare, surfaces guidance during the conversation for the rep to use, and packages outcomes afterward. It is built for teams that want better conversations without pretending an AI placed the call or negotiated terms alone.
A familiar example: a renewal at risk
A account executive has a renewal call with a customer who threatened to downgrade last quarter. Sal pulls permitted history into a call brief: open support themes Joy flagged, prior pricing discussion, and stage requirements from pipeline management. On the call, the rep sees concise prompts about discovery questions and approved talk tracks. After hang-up, Sal drafts a summary, follow-up tasks, and proposed CRM updates you review before anything customer-visible sends.
Pre-call preparation
Call briefs consolidate account context, objectives, and risks from systems you connected through Ian. Sal highlights what changed since the last touch so the rep opens with relevance instead of generic discovery.
In-call guidance under supervision
Guidance appears for the rep to read and apply. Sal does not autonomously negotiate or commit on your behalf. If your organization requires approval for specific scripts or offers, those rules still apply inside the sales OS.
Post-call follow-through
Summaries capture decisions, objections, and next steps in plain language. Follow-up tasks can route to Mission Log through Zed when you coordinate workforce work. Pipeline updates remain suggestions until your CRM policies and approvals accept them.
Recording, consent, and limits
Live assistance is supervised. Recording and transcription require applicable consent and configuration your legal team owns. Sal does not bypass telecom regulations or calling rules. When telephony is not connected, preparation and documentation may still help, but live workspace features depend on your setup.
A useful first calling mission
Choose five accounts in one stage, run briefed calls with one manager listening for quality, and compare follow-up completion rates versus your prior week. Tune guidance prompts before rolling to the full team.
